Urban Freight Workshop 2019

Singapore Urban Freight Research Workshop

Optimising freight transport in cities is a complex socio-technical problem that concerns multiple stakeholders, with implications on urban and transportation system planning. The workshop presents findings under an ongoing urban freight research study in Singapore, undertaken by Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) Future Urban Mobility IRG, in collaboration with land planning and transport authorities. The workshop addresses challenges and insights from freight data collection, and explore the development of data-driven models of urban freight behaviour and potential policy solutions.
